Well...
I think i have had no mind lately to do anything...
Just this morning, since i was feeling better from my hissy fit [see my last journal], i decided to make a banana cake.
Now, i made it ( atleast i thought i did.... ) and when the timer went off to say it was cooked, it should have rised by about 3-4 inches, and it was like it was when i put it in, well, brown instead....
When i take it out and put it on a cooling tray, it looked like rubber in a tray...
I cant believe i forgot the main ingredient in the cake! self-raising flour! it wouls still be ok if i had put in plain flour... but none at all!
well, there goes 6 bananas, 4 eggs and whatever else i put in there....
Well.... if you want the recipe look below... it is a nice cake, iced and everything, when made with ALL the ingredients...
Banana Cake
250g Butter or Margarine
1 1/2 Cups Castor Sugar
3 Cups Self-Raising Flour
4 eggs
6 Medium-Sized Bananas
1/2 cup of milk
1 teaspoon Bi-Carb Soda
1. Preheat oven to 160oC Fan-Forced, or 180oC Conventional
2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
3. add the eggs one at a time and well beat after each addition.
4. mash bananas and mix in until just combined
5. fold in flour combined with Milk and Bi-Carb Soda
6. bake for approx 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
Let to cool and ice it ( below )
Lemon Icing.
1/4 tub of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
2 cups of Icing Sugar
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons of Lemon Juice
1. Mix all together, add some water if needed.
2. Ice the cake with it.
Well... copy and give to whoever you want.... Just not any resturants that will make a profit out of it...
